In the spring of 2023, my husband Jim and I went to Africa. People (us included) often declare certain trips “The Trip of a Lifetime!”.  But in this instance, Africa really was that very special “Lifetime Trip”. It’s not that we’ve been all around the world. There are many places we have visited and photographed, and many more we have not. But Africa was a life altering experience, and one that I could wholeheartedly recommend to anyone. We selected Botswana to headline our African journey, and it was the perfect choice. Lots of animals; fewer people and a smaller group of tourists to provide interaction, made it the perfect mix for us. We traveled through the Chobe National Forest and the breathtaking Okavango Delta. After Botswana we went to Victoria Falls and the great Zambezi River on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Hopefully we will go again someday soon.
